Short vowel sounds

This fun and interactive worksheet helps young learners practice identifying short vowel sounds (a, e, i, o, u). Students will look at a picture of an object, say its name aloud, and listen for the short vowel sound in the middle. Using a color dabber or dot marker, they will then dab the correct bubble that matches the vowel sound they hear. This hands-on activity supports phonemic awareness, vowel recognition, and early reading skills. Perfect for preschool, kindergarten, and early first grade, it makes learning vowel sounds engaging and multisensory.
